Domino’s 950BK MOF ink is manufactured using vegetables and as such is non-hazardous and sustainable and has natural biodegrable properties, which assists in de-inking during recycling.
Andrew Gunton, product manager – fluids at Domino, said the ink had been developed in response to the 2011 mineral oil scare, which focused on the potential health risk from mineral oils present in the recycled cartonboard used to make food packaging.
